Sylver Productions understands that you care how your information is used, and we appreciate that you trust we will use it carefully and sensibly. This notice to inform you that by choosing to use Sylver Productions’ CollegeTix™ service, you are accepting the privacy policy described below:
1. Personal Information
a. Information Provided: We receive and store the information you enter. Information such as your full name, contact information like mailing address, email address, telephone number, and/or credit card information are necessary for processing orders, managing events, responding to requests and improving our service.
b. Cookies: Like many websites, we use cookies – small bits of information that we transfer to your hard drive. When you access this site, the cookies help us recognize you. We use session cookies which are deleted at the end of every session. These cookies are used only to provide user-friendly experiences and not used for tracking ongoing usage.
c. Other Information: Every computer has an Internet Protocol (IP) address. The IP addresses of computers used to visit this site are noted. In addition, we automatically collect other information such as email addresses, browser types, operating systems and the URL addresses of sites clicked to and from this site.
2. Use of Information
a. Organizers: Event organizers usually require non-evasive information, such as full name and city of residence, for the master guest list for their events. CollegeTix™ and Sylver Productions will never share any additional personal information with organizers except it is against the law not to.
b. Third Party Agents: We employ Interac and PayPal to perform certain functions like processing credit and debit card payments on our behalf. They have access to your personal information because it is required to perform their duties. However, they will not use any information for other purposes.
c. Law Enforcement: If we receive a legal notice or court order to release account or other personal information then we will comply with the law. We will also release your information when necessary to protect the life, safety or property of others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for credit risk reduction and fraud protection.
3. Protecting Information
a. No system can guarantee absolute security. However, Sylver Productions takes every reasonable precautionary measure to ensure your information is secure. On your part, please make sure you log off when finished using a shared computer. It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer.
b. Sylver Production protects the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software and a firewall to protect against unlawful intrusion.
c. Sylver Production limits access to your information on a “need to know” basis.
4. Children
CollegeTix™ was not designed for use by children. It is designed for College and University students. If you are under eighteen (18) years of age, you may use this site only with permission from or supervision of parent(s) or guardian(s).
5. Note
Sylver Productions reserves the right to modify this policy in the future without notification.
6. Effective Date
This policy is effective as of Wednesday, September 21st, 2011.
